So far, 4 million NIS have been invested in the synagogue, with the framework and many finishing infrastructures (plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, doors, aluminum, and more) already established. Nearly all of these funds were raised from within the community, reaching the limit of their capacity. Currently, we need an additional $1 million to fully complete the construction and even less to finish the basic structure.

The synagogue is the only one in the Ahuza HaNasi neighborhood in Rehovot, a neighborhood with approximately 3,000 families, and serves as the community’s center. At present, prayers are held in a caravan and a backup pergola, which accommodate over 100 prayers on Friday evenings.
The allocation deadline is about to expire (after an extension), and a small group of opponents to the construction of the synagogue (who have previously lost in court but are very militant and supported by external organizations) are once again preparing for a declared and publicized battle if we do not complete on time.

The new synagogue building will include:
Our community is diverse and very active, with clear Chabad leadership, yet it embraces all segments of the population.
Daily activities include:
On Shabbat, there are classes (in addition to prayers and Kiddush) almost throughout the day. The community also provides regular weekly support (and additional support during special times) to the needy across the city.
Above all, we offer the privilege of providing real assistance to build an active and true synagogue in the Land of Israel
